The Canadian Prime Minister calls the Israeli attack on the hospital
'unacceptable'
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said a reported Israeli attack on a hospital in Gaza was "horrific and absolutely unacceptable," reports Reuters.
Trudeau
made his comments when asked about the attack, which health authorities in the
Hamas-run enclave said had killed hundreds of people.
Canada has
stressed that Israel must abide by international law, as attacks against Hamas
killed more than 1,300 people.
"The
news coming out of Gaza is appalling and absolutely unacceptable...
international law must be respected in this and in all cases. There are rules
about wars and it is not acceptable to strike a hospital," Trudeau told
reporters .
