Albania has
banned the import of pigs, pork, and related products from North Macedonia over
reports of an African swine fever outbreak in the country, reports Ora News TV.
The import of pigs and pork products from North Macedonia will be allowed only if a seller produces a veterinary health certificate that their pigs or pork products are not infected with African swine fever.
The
decision was made by Albania's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
It is to remain in force until further notice.
