South Africa on Thursday, January 11, accused Israel of breaching the UN Genocide Convention,

South
Africa on Friday filed an application instituting proceedings against Israel
before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), requesting the court
to indicate provisional measures.
The court
now interprets the language of the law to permit two individuals in a committed
relationship, regardless of their gender, to adopt children
The U.S.
said "very serious" negotiations were taking place on a new Gaza
ceasefire and release of more Israeli hostages, but prospects for a deal
