A public

The United States on Wednesday welcomed the return of the Armenian and
Azerbaijani detainees, and reports that additional confidence-building measures
are being discussed, the State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller told
TURAN's Washington correspondent during daily briefing.

Azerbaijani media published constant articles portraying the meeting
as the US embassy's spy network and who was recruited as an American agent
while training in the United States, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan postponed the
ceremonial meeting with the graduates of American universities, which was
planned to be held on November 27 at the Marriott Absheron Hotel in Baku.
The
decision on Armenia’s possible withdrawal from the CSTO will be made taking

“Armenian Protection Act of 2023” (S.3000) which aims to block all U.S.
military assistance to Azerbaijan by removing President Biden’s authority to
waive Section 907 of the FREEDOM Support Act for Fiscal Years 2024 and 2025,
the ANCA reports.

opened for citizens of third countries in the near future.
Azerbaijan sent troops backed by artillery strikes into Armenian-controlled
territories of Nagorno-Karabakh on Tuesday (19 September) in an attempt to
bring the breakaway region to heel by force, raising the threat of a new war
with its neighbour Armenia.
The United States is deeply concerned by Azerbaijan’s military actions in Nagorno-Karabakh and calls on Azerbaijan to cease these actions immediately, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement.
